The Daily Plate Update

Monday 2 April 2007 @ 9:00 pm

This weekend I was very busy so I had little time to update my food intake on the thedailyplate.com. As I mentioned earlier I started a group for South Beach Diet Fans called “South Beach diet Fans.” So far I only have one member, but I think it’s because I have not posted any news or information on the blog. I will work on that in the coming days.

I am a huge fan on the TDP and think they have an awesome community website for people who want to live healthy. The site owners are very responsive to requests for features of bug fixes. I truly am enjoying being a member of this site.

I joined The Daily Plate site

The Daily Plate.com

I found an awesome new website called thedailyplate.com. It allows you to track your daily intake of food and beverages. It is a community site so people are adding food items and restaurants all the time. I will give you an example of the power of community. Last week I wanted to have an in and out burger, protein style of course but I wanted to know how many calories, fat, and carbs are in an in-and-out burger. So I searched Google and found thedailyplate.com. Here is the actual page I found on Google: http://www.thedailyplate.com/food-nutrition/food/in-n-out

Wow very cool. They had almost every food I searched for and so I quickly signed up fro a free account and started tracking my results.

No longer do I have to use excel sheets to track my food intake, weight loss goals, etc… This site does it all for me. I have used it for a few days and decided to create a South Beach Diet Group on the site so we can exchange ideas and recipes. You can find the group here:
