Phase One Day Three

I finished jury duty today which has made this new diet a bit rough to follow. But now that I am back to my normal routine at work it should be much easier to follow the South Beach Plan. My main issue was I could not eat my lunch when I felt hungry. I had to go to lunch at noon; because that was the time the judge would let us out.
At the end of the day I feel really tired. About 10:00 pm I can barely keep my eyes open. Where pre South Beach I would normally go to bed at 11:30 or 12:00
I also noticed I get really hungry at 9:00 – 9:30 pm, two hours after dinner.

Here is what I had for the day.

Breakfast: Two egg whites with tomatoes and peppers and a cup of coffee.

Snack: Celery sticks

Lunch: Mc Donald’s chicken salad with light vinaigrette. And yes it was in the South Beach Diet book as acceptable fast food for phase one.

Snack: carrot sticks pistachio nuts

Dinner: Chicken Breasts and Broccoli cooked in a Dijon sauce.
